Marieke Vermaas

Marieke Vermaas currently serves as an Industry Technology Specialist at Novonesis, providing technical support for strategic global customers in the Baking business since January 2024. Prior to this, Marieke held a similar role at Novozymes from November 2016 to January 2024, focusing on technical support and consulting for the Food & Baking business in the EMA region. Marieke's experience also includes product development management at CSM Bakery Supplies Europe Division, where responsibilities encompassed formulating confectionary and bread solutions and managing European projects. Marieke's earlier roles include research and development projects at Ingredion Incorporated and Lamb Weston Meijer, where Marieke optimized production processes and quality systems. Marieke holds a Master of Science in Food Studies from Wageningen University & Research and a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences.
