Prior to these positions, Rainer held multiple leadership roles at Sartorius from May 2006 to October 2023, including CFO and Senior Vice President of Business Operations & Processes, overseeing Finance, IT, and e-business initiatives globally. Rainer’s earlier experience includes leading finance operations in North and South America and serving as Head of Controlling & Consolidation at Biesterfeld AG. Rainer's educational background encompasses a Diplom Kaufmann in Business Administration from Private Fachhochschule Goettingen and an executive program at Harvard Business School.
