Ulla Matthiesen

Ulla Matthiesen currently serves as the Head of Internal and Leadership Communication at Novonesis, a role commenced in January 2024. Prior to this, Ulla held the position of Head of Global Internal & Leadership Communication at Novozymes from August 2021 to February 2024, leading a team responsible for corporate communication. Ulla also served as Vice President of CSR & Communication at Flügger group A/S from May 2015 to August 2021, where responsibilities included the development of CSR strategies and governance. Previous roles at Flügger include Head of Communication and Communication Manager, focusing on internal and external communication management. Ulla's earlier career at Novozymes from 2005 to 2015 encompassed various positions, including Senior Strategic Communications Consultant and Global News Manager. Ulla's educational background includes a Master’s degree in English and Danish Business Communication from the University of Southern Denmark and several certifications in corporate sustainability and communications.
