Satish Lakhapatri is the VP of Engineering at NovoNutrients, and leads process development and technology scale up. His leadership style emphasizes a culture of innovation. Most recently, he was the Director of Engineering at Calysta, where he led the scale up of gas fermentation technology from pilot to commercial scale. Prior to that, Satish held engineering roles at Siluria Technologies where he led the design and development of their proprietary reactor technology for natural gas to chemicals business. Satish started his career at Codexis, supporting pilot scale demonstration of a novel carbon capture technology. He is also a co-inventor and author of several patents and publications on reactor and process design. He holds a BS and PhD, both in Chemical Engineering.
