Raúl Toribio Carela

Raúl Toribio Carela has extensive work experience in the field of business development and coordination. Raúl started their career at VisaNet Dominicana in 2006 as a Customer Service Representative and worked their way up through various roles, including Sales Coordinator, Commercial Coordinator & Business Intelligence, and Junior Business Development. In 2017, they joined Visa as a Business Development Manager and later became a Business Development Leader. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Business Development at NovoPayment.

Raúl Toribio Carela obtained a Licentiate degree in Derecho from the Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications. In August 2021, they completed the Visa Payments Management Lab certification from Visa. In December 2019, they earned the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from Scrum Inc. Finally, in May 2018, they completed the Unconscious Bias certification from Lynda.com.
