AI data centers are facing a hard power constraint.

Novra Power is building behind-the-meter generation systems to solve this constraint in AI-scale infrastructure.

We convert retiring commercial aviation engines into land-based aeroderivative power systems, delivering modular generation capacity purpose-built for large-scale AI infrastructure.

AI infrastructure is undergoing a step-change in density, scale, and architectural philosophy. Next-generation NVIDIA GPU clusters require delivery at 800VDC and at site scales of one gigawatt or more, breaking the conventional AC power delivery chain used for decades in data centers.

Grid connection is no longer the preferable primary path for gigawatt-scale AI factories. Interconnection queues in the United States run five to seven years in constrained markets, while transmission expansion is limited by permitting, financing complexity and equipment lead times.

Behind-the-meter generation using aeroderivative gas turbines is the leading near-term path, but supply is constrained through 2030 and beyond.

Novra Power addresses both the architectural and supply bottlenecks.

Our conversion package features a variable-speed free turbine and a native 800VDC output bus, producing 18 to 25 MW per unit with improved fuel-to-chip efficiency versus conventional AC power delivery systems.

Novra Power is founded and led by a team with 50+ years of combined experience from GE, Aggreko, Boeing, and private equity.

As part of WEF Davos 2026, CEO Volker Schulte discussed how Novra Power is scaling a new power generation approach for AI-scale data center growth; visit our website to watch the CBS interview and learn more about Novra Power’s approach to transforming the gas turbine supply chain.
