Irfan Babla

Irfan Babla is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in formulation research and development, currently serving as Director of Formulation R&D and Technology Transfer at Novugen since March 2018. Irfan's roles at Novugen have evolved from Associate Director to Sr Manager and Manager of Formulation Development, where key responsibilities include project planning, execution, risk assessment, and strategy preparation for formulation development. Prior to Novugen, Babla worked as Assistant Manager at Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd, focusing on literature and patent searches, and as a Research Scientist at Alembic Ltd, where the emphasis was on developing bioequivalent oral solid dosage forms for regulated markets. Babla began their career as a Lecturer at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research and holds a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics from Nagpur University.
