Hristiyan Georgiev

Hristiyan Georgiev has a long and varied work experience. In 2013, they began working as a Reporter and Editor for Sportal.bg, where they created video material and news for the website, conducted interviews with Bulgarian sportsmen and foreign athletes, and translated newsfeeds from English. In 2012, they worked as a Reporter and Editor of Video Material for VTK Channel. In 2018, they worked as a Customer Service Specialist for William Hill. In 2019, they worked as a KYC IVS Specialist for Paysafe Group. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at Tide as a KYC QA Analyst, Compliance and Re-KYC Specialist, and KYC Onboarding Specialist, where they completed onboarding and periodic reviews, assessed new account information, conducted screenings, and had knowledge of AML policies and procedures. Finally, in 2022, they began working as an AML Compliance Associate for Nexo and a Senior Compliance Operations Analyst for Novus.

Hristiyan Georgiev obtained a Master's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in 2017. Hristiyan also holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from the same university. In 2023, they obtained a Certified Regulatory Compliance Specialist certification from the Global Compliance Institute, and in 2022 they obtained a CERTIFIED AML FINTECH COMPLIANCE ASSOCIATE (CAFCA) certification from ACAMS.
