Bob Beaty

Bob Beaty is an experienced technology leader, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Now Energy Systems, focusing on the development of fish-safe, zero-carbon electricity through hydroelectric plant renovation and the establishment of new sites. Prior roles include Principal Engineer and Architect at Flex, where Bob specialized in financial services solutions for small to medium-sized construction companies, and Director of Engineering at Vodori, where Bob enhanced the development team's capabilities using a Clojure-based toolset. Bob's technical expertise spans various industries, having held significant positions as Principal Engineer at The Climate Corporation, Senior Software Engineer at Guaranteed Rate, and Senior Systems Architect at PEAK6 Investments LP. Bob holds a BSEE, MSEE, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, alongside a BS in Electrical Engineering from Indiana University Indianapolis.
