Ariel I. Marrero is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in operations and project management across various industries. Currently serving as Director of Engineering at Now Foods since May 2018, Ariel provides strategic direction in Engineering Management, Facility Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement across multiple sites. Previous roles include Engineering Manager at CP Kelco, where Ariel led capital investment activities at the Oklahoma site, and Associate Director of Operations at Merial, a Sanofi Company, overseeing packaging personnel and production targets. Additional experience at Merck encompassed multiple leadership positions, including Associate Director for Capital Projects and Facilities Maintenance, where strategic five-year planning was a focus. Ariel began a career at Calgon as a Sales Engineer, specializing in water treatment technologies, and worked as a Safety Engineer at Warner Lambert during facility renovations. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
