Nów. New Craft Poland is an association of modern craftsmen. Our name “Nów” stands for the new moon. The modern craft is rising in a new, creative and individual way, just like the full moon is rising from the new moon.
For us, craft is the result of a lifelong experience based on countless trials, errors and equally many successes. We perceive our work as a cooperation between the body and the material, the efficient hand movements process matter to express the concept. We believe that less is better. We want to produce things for years, not for one season. High quality and individual style of our handmade products are our most important values. We care about the origin of our materials as much as about the amount of waste we produce.
Our goal is to spread knowledge about contemporary Polish craft, promote it in the country and abroad. We want to establish international cooperation and implement craft based projects, as well as represent the interests of craftsmen before public institutions.
