Declan Wilkes

Declan Wilkes is an experienced communications professional with a background in public relations and journalism. Currently serving as a Public Relations Consultant at Now Teach since April 2022, Wilkes promotes the initiatives of an education charity. Prior to this role, Wilkes completed a consultancy at Skills Builder Partnership, where a data-focused PR campaign was executed. Previous experience includes over a decade as Head of Communications at MyBnk, as well as positions such as Press Officer for a General Election candidate and News Editor for The London Daily News and London Greek News. Wilkes started the career as a Media Analyst at IPM. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Contemporary History from both City St George’s, University of London, and Queen Mary University of London, along with an Irish Leaving Cert from St. Josephs Secondary School.
