Graeme Danton serves as the Executive Director of Corporate Services at Samaritans, overseeing Finance, HR, Legal, Property, Governance, and Performance & Planning since April 2019. Additionally, Graeme has held the position of Executive Chair at Now Teach since April 2017, leading an innovative education charity that recruits late career changers to teach in challenging schools, focusing on strategy, funding, stakeholder management, and governance. Previously, from November 2014 to March 2017, Graeme was the COO at Teach First, managing finance, HR, IT, legal, and performance for the UK's largest graduate recruitment charity. Graeme's extensive experience at the Bank of England from July 2001 to November 2014 included roles such as Head of Markets Strategy and Risk Operations and COO of Markets, where responsibilities encompassed business planning, strategy, risk management, and compliance. Graeme holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Warwick.
