Luis Del Castillo

Analog IC Design Engineer at Nowi

Luis Del Castillo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Luis began their career as a Project Engineer at Philips, where they provided engineering support for medical equipment projects and handled installation and maintenance tasks. Luis then worked at ABB as a Project Engineer, configuring and starting up automation systems for electrical power distribution. Moving into the semiconductor industry, Luis joined NXP Semiconductors as an Analog IC Design Engineer. Here, they designed analog circuits for industrial, automotive, and IoT applications, performed circuit simulations, and conducted layout analyses. Luis continued to excel in this role and gained additional experience in power management controller block design and top-level simulations. Currently, Luis is working at Nexperia Energy Harvesting as an Analog IC Design Engineer, where they contribute to the development of analog and mixed-signal IP blocks and systems based on project requirements. Luis also conducts feasibility studies for new circuits and architectures.

Luis Del Castillo has a Licentiate degree and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, which they obtained from 2006 to 2012. In 2013 to 2014, they attended CTI Renato Archer - Programa CI Brasil, where they earned a degree as an RF IC Designer with a focus on Microlectronics, Analog IC Design, RF Design, and Layout. In addition, they obtained the IELTS certification from the British Council in November 2016.
