Scott Walker

Director of DevOps/QA at NowSecure

Scott Walker has extensive work experience in the field of technology and software development. Scott started their career at WizardLawyer Technologies, where they were solely responsible for building CollisionWizard, an online tool for consumers to organize and settle car accident claims. Scott then worked at ISOMEDIA as a Software Developer, where they designed a distributed file sharing system and implemented an affiliate system for Swift Communication sites.

Afterwards, Scott joined Wyndham Vacation Ownership as a Contractor, where they designed and maintained a Coreg Lead Management system. Scott then moved to Ramp Technology Group, where they worked as a Senior Operations member and released an enterprise class data mart solution for the Marchex business team.

Scott then worked at hawkeye as a Release Manager, where they maintained and managed the SharePoint 2007 environment and designed C programs for build automation. Scott later joined Conenza as a Software Consultant, where they served as the lead Java Developer and designed JSF and struts portlets.

In 2010, Scott joined OptionsHouse, a part of the E*TRADE family, as a Senior Web & iOS Developer. Scott played a significant role in building OptionsHouse, a top-rated mobile trading platform, and was responsible for porting the app to Android. Scott also established automated build processes and advanced the testing platform for the trading platform.

In 2012, Scott co-founded Platypus-Media, Advertising & Design and served as the Technology Lead. Currently, they are working at NowSecure, where they initially served as the Principal DevOps Engineer and is currently the Director of DevOps/QA.

Scott Walker earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington, where they attended from 1997 to 2002. In addition, they obtained certifications such as Bing Ads Accredited Professional from Microsoft in September 2016 and AdWords Search Certification from Google in February 2016. Scott is also listed as a Google Certified Partner, although the specific date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
