Vitalii Maklai

Vitalii Maklai is currently working as a Senior Backend Developer at nowsite since September 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at SOTI Inc. for 10 years as a Senior Software Developer, with a focus on establishing DevOps practices, creating and maintaining Continuous Delivery pipelines, and using technologies like Visual Studio and .NET. Before that, they worked as a Senior C# Developer at Ciklum, where they were involved in design, development, and testing of various components and subsystems. Vitalii also has experience as a Software Architect and Developer at NYCE Solutions Ukraine and Ciklum, where they worked on warehouse management systems and project management systems. Early in their career, they worked as a Software Developer and Consultant at Aurora Service, focusing on ERP systems based on the 1C:Enterprise 7.7 engine.

Vitalii Maklai obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Devices from the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' during the period 1997-2001. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, completing it in the years 2003-2005. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in Cryptography I from Coursera in March 2015 and Discrete Optimization from Coursera in August 2013.
