Patrick O'Connor has a wide range of work experience spanning several industries. Patrick began their career with Sheshunoff Information Services as a Lead Developer, where they were responsible for analysis, design, and development while assisting other developers. In 1986, they joined Parker County, Texas as the Director of Data Processing before moving on to ADP Dealer Services as a Senior Developer, where they developed applications for Parts and Service, as well as Lease and Rental.

In 1993, Patrick joined Ultimate Data Systems as a Programmer/Development Manager and also worked for NxTrend Technology as a Research Analyst. Patrick then transitioned to Infor, where they assumed various roles, including Senior Principal Architect/Product Manager and Manager of Development and Primary Research Analyst. During their time at Infor, they gained experience in IT, support, development, and training.

Patrick O'Connor also has experience outside of the technology industry. In 2011, they became a Deacon with the Diocese of Colorado Springs, where they were assigned to Holy Apostles Catholic Church. Their most recent position is with Nox Health, where they currently serve as the Vice President of Development and VP of Security. In this role, they are responsible for implementing processes to ensure certification against ISO-27001 and improving the quality and efficiency of design and development processes, as well as assuming responsibility for IT and implementing cost-cutting measures.

Patrick O'Connor attended Augustine Institute from 2007 to 2011, where they pursued Post Graduate Studies in Catechesis and Evangelization. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1986, they attended St. Edward's University, majoring in Computer Science. Before their time at St. Edward's University, from 1976 to 1978, Patrick O'Connor studied Chemistry at Loyola University New Orleans.
