Vahid Khoshkava

Vahid Khoshkava has a strong background in AI, signal processing, and research. Vahid is currently working at Noze as the Lead AI/Signal Processing Scientist. Prior to that, they were an Entrepreneur at TandemLaunch Inc., where they scouted and evaluated university inventions for potential deep-tech startups. Vahid also completed technical due diligence and provided research and product roadmaps. Before that, Vahid worked at Immersion Corporation as a Sr. Research Scientist, where they applied signal processing, statistics, and machine learning techniques in various projects. Vahid led the design and development of a smart multimodal haptic structure for AR/VR and initiated open innovation projects. Vahid also served as a Research Scientist at Immersion Corporation, where they demonstrated expertise in designing and fabricating smart material actuators. Vahid led the design and development of flexible electro-active actuators for textile applications and graspable VR/Gaming controllers, and employed multiphysics simulation techniques to optimize designs.

Vahid Khoshkava pursued their education in Chemical Engineering from 2009 to 2014 at McGill University, where they successfully achieved a Ph.D. degree.
