Retired SVP of Sales at Palo Alto Networks, John Spiliotis has over 34 years of technology sales leadership experience across multiple industry verticals to his role as Advisor with Nozomi Networks.

During his tenure at Palo Alto Networks, John was responsible for driving the organization’s direct and indirect sales engagement activities in the Americas ($1.8B, 70% of all sales), including channel partner productivity, customer segmentation, management team hyper-growth, Service Provider and Federal sales, Systems Engineering and overall core sales strategy.

Prior to that, John served as Vice President of Avaya’s Global Channel organization where he was responsible for leading the customer-focused and partner-engaged go-to-market strategy. He has also held direct and channel leadership roles at Cisco Systems, Extreme Networks, and Redback Networks, which was acquired by Ericsson.

John is currently a Senior Operating Advisor at LLR Partners, a $6B private equity firm, acts as advisor to several VC and PE-backed cybersecurity companies and integrators including Optiv, and is a Board member at Cherwell Software, a KKR-backed software company.

John holds a Masters in Finance and Banking from Hofstra University, and a BA in Mathematics from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina.
