Michael Schutz

Michael Schutz has over 30 years of experience in finance and operations. Michael currently holds the role of Director of Finance at Nippon Paint Automotive Americas, Inc. Since joining in 2022.

Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at RGP from 2020 to 2022.

From 1998 to 2019, Schutz held various roles at Life Fitness, including Director of Finance, Operations, Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, and Controller, Service Division. In these roles, they were responsible for leading financial operations, implementing standardized accounting practices, reducing costs, and supporting mergers and acquisitions.

Between 1993 and 1997, they worked as the General Manager and Controller at Nationwide Technologies, where they transformed the operations of a copier sales and service organization.

Before that, from 1990 to 1993, they served as the Controller at Classic Oldsmobile, where they successfully managed cash flows and worked on mortgage refinancing and buy-sell negotiations.

Schutz began their career as a Staff Auditor at Price Waterhouse in 1989.

Michael Schutz attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1985 to 1989, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
