Jerry McCoy has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Jerry started their career at Fl Smithe Machine Co. in 1976, where they worked as a Sales & Service Engineer. In this role, they troubleshooted, repaired, set up, and provided training on high-speed equipment. Jerry also demonstrated the equipment line at world trade shows and conducted formal classroom training for industry leaders.

In 2004, Jerry was promoted to the position of Manufacturing Manager at Fl Smithe Machine Co. In this role, they supervised up to 100 employees and managed all aspects of work, including assignments, workflow, methodology, procedures, efficiency, safety, and discipline.

In 2009, Jerry joined Paper Converting Machine Company as a Manufacturing Sales/Service Engineer. Here, they provided engineering, manufacturing, and technical support for modifications and rebuilds, as well as service parts value streams. Jerry also offered phone support to field service technicians and customers.

In 2017, Jerry joined Canon Solutions America as a Senior Digital Service Engineer, where they worked until 2018. Finally, in 2018, Jerry joined NPC, Inc. as an Engineering, Maintenance, & Facilities Manager.

Jerry McCoy has a diverse education history. In 1975 and 1976, they obtained a certification in Machine Tool & Die Making. From 1996 to 2000, they pursued studies in Mechanical & Electronics at ICS & Penn State. In 2007 and 2008, they attended Dale Carnegie where they focused on Human Relations. During the same period, they also studied Process Flow & Lean Management at Penn State University. In 2008 and 2009, Jerry McCoy enrolled at Charles Clough to gain knowledge in Lean Manufacturing Management. In 2010 and 2011, they returned to BWU for Communication Skills & L3 Overviews, but without pursuing a specific degree. Finally, in 2012 and 2013, they completed the L3 Fundamentals & Culture of Service Foundations program at BWU, specializing in Business Management & Human Behavior.
