Richard Bendall-Jones FAPM CFIRM has extensive experience in risk and value management. Richard began their career in 2010 at Network Rail as a Risk & Value Analyst, then moved to Infrastructure Maintenance Project Manager, and finally to Project Management Assistant. In 2021, they joined nPlan as a Principal Risk Engineer. At Network Rail, they led a team of Risk & Value Analysts and Assistants, developed the capability of the businesses they supported, conducted cost and schedule risk analyses, facilitated Risk & Value workshops, provided reports on project, programme and portfolio-level risk profiles, advised project teams on their risk exposure, coached colleagues on UK railway engineering and operations, implemented Infrastructure Project's Enterprise Risk & Value Management framework, and coached and trained Risk & Value colleagues and project team members in risk analysis and Schedule Risk modelling. Richard is an advanced user of Primavera Risk Analysis and Active Risk Manager and a STEM ambassador, providing support and guidance to schools in the Lancashire area, as well as guest lectures at local universities and industry events.

Richard Bendall-Jones has an extensive educational background. In 2009-2010, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Project and Enterprise Management from UCL. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Russian and Business Studies from The University of Sheffield between 2003 and 2007. Additionally, they hold two certifications: Certified Fellow (CFIRM) from the Institute of Risk Management and Fellow (FAPM) from the Association for Project Management.
