Spencer Coffin

Spencer Coffin has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2012, they started working as a Biomedical Engineer/Radiology Co-op at UMass Medical School - New England Center for Stroke Research. In 2013, they joined Worcester Polytechnic Institute as an Assistant Swim Coach and also worked as a Graduate Student/Lab Manager/Research Assistant. During this time, they gained valuable experience in the field. In 2015, Spencer Coffin joined Abcam as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, where they worked until 2021. Their most recent role is an Automation Engineer at Nomic Bio, starting in December 2021. Their experience spans across engineering, research, management, and coaching roles.

Spencer Coffin's education history begins in 2009 when they enrolled at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. They pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Material Science. This four-year program lasted until 2013. Following their undergraduate studies, Spencer Coffin continued their education at Worcester Polytechnic Institute for a Master of Science (M.S.) degree. They specialized in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from 2013 to 2015.
