Kelly Cockerham

Kelly Cockerham is an experienced grant writer currently employed at NPower since August 2022. Prior to this role, Kelly served as a grant writer for FREE2LUV®, where the focus was on supporting at-risk youth through mental health education and the arts. Additional experience includes positions as a social media coordinator, copywriter, and editor for clients at Pure Silver Creative, and as an institutional funding officer at the Stray Cat Alliance, contributing to animal welfare initiatives. With a solid background in copywriting and creative writing, Kelly has worked as a consultant since 2008 and previously held various educational and arts-related roles, including program director at the Tampa Metro YMCA and artist-in-the-schools with the Arts Council of Hillsborough County. Kelly holds an MFA in Writing and Literature from Bennington College and a BA in Creative Writing from the University of South Florida.
