Ailsa Chang

Host And Correspondent

Ailsa Chang is a prominent host and correspondent for National Public Radio (NPR), having held the role of host for "All Things Considered" and correspondent for the "Planet Money" podcast since September 2012. Prior to this, Ailsa worked as a reporter for WNYC Radio, covering courts and criminal justice issues from September 2009 to August 2012. Ailsa's career in broadcasting began with a fellowship at NPR and previous reporting positions at KQED. Ailsa has a legal background as a lawyer at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP and as a clerk for Judge John T. Noonan, Jr. at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ailsa's educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University, a Master of Studies in Media Law from the University of Oxford, a Doctor of Law from Stanford Law School, and an A.B. in Public Policy from Stanford University.
