Alex Heuer

Alex Heuer is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Executive Producer for St. Louis Public Radio's flagship program, a position held since September 2012. Prior roles at St. Louis Public Radio include Senior Producer and Talk Show Producer. In addition to work at St. Louis Public Radio, Alex has contributed as a Freelance Contributing Reporter for NPR since 2009. Prior experience includes Talk Show Producer and Reporter roles at Iowa Public Radio, where Alex generated show ideas, booked guests, and directed live programming. Early career experience as a Reporter at Tri States Public Radio involved newscast and feature reporting while studying at Western Illinois University. Alex holds a Master of Public Policy Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and a Bachelor of Arts in History, Pre-Law, and Secondary Education from Western Illinois University.
