Alex Leff is a seasoned digital editor currently serving at NPR's International Desk since December 2017. Prior to this role, Alex held positions at Public Radio International as a Senior Editor and at GlobalPost, where oversight of correspondents in Latin America and Europe was a key responsibility. Alex's extensive experience also includes positions as Americas Editor and Costa Rica Correspondent for Thomson Reuters, as well as contributions to various publications such as Americas Quarterly and The Tico Times. Alex's educational background includes a Masters in Journalism from Universitat de Barcelona and a Bachelor's degree from Sarah Lawrence College. Additionally, Alex holds a Trinity College CertTESOL for teaching English as a foreign language.
