Anna Brugmann

Anna Brugmann is a policy professional and journalism advocate with extensive experience in journalism and public policy. They served as a reporter during the COVID-19 pandemic, covering critical health issues, and held roles at various publications, including The Washington Post and The Washington Monthly. As the Policy Director for Rebuild Local News, Anna led advocacy initiatives and collaborated with diverse journalism stakeholders. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Convergence Journalism at the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master's degree in Public Affairs and International Journalism at American University, while also working as a State Senior Manager at NPR.
