Brigit B.

Brigit B. is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in policy, representation, and crisis communications. Currently serving as the Communications and Engagement Manager at NPR since April 2019, Brigit has also held roles such as Corporate Communications Manager and Senior Communications Associate. Prior to NPR, Brigit worked at The Harbour Group, where responsibilities included international and crisis communications. Additional experience includes an internship at the U.S. Department of State in the Office of Press Relations and a communications role at The University of Texas at Austin's Voces Oral History Project. Brigit began a career in journalism as a Senior Life & Arts Reporter for The Daily Texan and has held various communications positions in government settings, including work with the Texas House of Representatives. Brigit B. holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism and Political Science from The University of Texas at Austin.
