Carrie Johnson is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in legal and justice reporting. Since April 2010, Carrie has served as a Justice Department Correspondent for National Public Radio. Prior to this role, Carrie was a Staff Writer at the Washington Post from May 2000 to April 2010 and worked as a reporter for Legal Times from 1996 to 2000. In 2009, Carrie contributed as a freelance writer for Columbia Law School Magazine. Additionally, Carrie participated in a fellowship with the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard from August 2019 to June 2020. Carrie earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Benedictine University, after studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
