Christopher Dortch is an experienced festival director and film programmer, currently serving as the Festival Director for the Chattanooga Film Festival since January 2013. As the Founder and Programmer of Mise En Scenesters since February 2010, Christopher aims to provide access to unique films through various initiatives. In addition, Christopher holds the position of Editor in Chief at MESFilmclub.com, where responsibilities include content creation and recruitment of film journalists. As a co-host for the NPR program Connect the Dots and an Editor/Filmmaker at Woople Studios, Christopher has developed a diverse skill set in film production and media management. Christopher previously held the role of Programming Director for the Chattanooga Film Society and was the Director of Programming for The Documentary Channel, where significant contributions were made to film selection and content development. Christopher holds a degree in Film from Watkins College of Art, Design & Film.
