Cristina Kim is an accomplished journalist and producer with extensive experience in reporting and community engagement. Currently serving as a Reporter/Producer for Throughline at NPR since June 2022, Cristina has previously held roles such as Race & Equity Reporter at KPBS and Producer for NPR and WBUR's Here & Now. Additional production experience includes work at KQED and Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting. Cristina's background also features a unique focus on oral history, demonstrated through roles as Program Manager at StoryCorps, where responsibilities included managing the StoryCorps @ your library program and serving as a National Bilingual Facilitator. Earlier experience includes work as a Research Assistant at Columbia University and a General Assignment Reporter for Lamorinda Weekly. Cristina earned Master of Arts degrees from both Brown University and Columbia University, following a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American and Latino Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
