Diane Webber

Supervising Editor, Health Policy

Diane Webber is an accomplished editorial professional with extensive experience in health policy journalism. Currently serving as Supervising Editor for Health Policy at NPR since December 2022, Diane previously played a pivotal role at Kaiser Health News as National Editor and Project Editor from August 2011 to November 2022, where Diane led a partnership project with NPR. Prior editorial roles include Editor of Health Care at POLITICO PRO, Senior Editor for CURRENTS at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, and Executive Editor at Scholastic, where Diane managed language arts magazines. Earlier in Diane's career, significant positions included Copy Editor at the New York Post and Managing Editor at The Brooklyn Papers. Diane holds an AB in Philosophy with a minor in Dance from Barnard College.
