Doualy X.

Doualy X. is a seasoned journalist and educator with extensive experience in broadcast journalism. Currently serving as a Professional-in-Residence and Adjunct Associate Professor at Hofstra University since September 2021, and as an Adjunct Lecturer at Fordham University since January 2022, Doualy X. also maintains a long-standing role at NPR since October 1999 as a Newscaster, Reporter, Editor, and Foreign Correspondent. Previous experience includes a role as a Correspondent at Minnesota Public Radio from July 2015 to June 2018, focusing on race and cultural issues, and as a Senior Reporter at KERA, where coverage included significant regional events. Doualy X. began a reporting career at 89.3 KPCC as an Annenberg Fellow, covering various topics such as politics and education. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Business Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies from Empire State University, complemented by studies at Ithaca College and The City University of New York.
