Ed McNulty

Ed McNulty possesses extensive experience in audio journalism and content production, currently serving as Editor for NPR News since April 2015, where responsibilities include developing content for various platforms and overseeing the editorial flow of the "Up First" podcast. Prior to this role, McNulty spent a decade at Sirius XM Radio Inc., rising from Producer to Executive Producer of "The Bob Edwards Show," where leadership involved managing the production of in-depth interviews and cultivating a diverse array of notable guests. McNulty's career also includes significant contributions to NPR from 1998 to 2004, where early roles involved generating ideas and producing impactful segments for "Weekend Edition with Scott Simon." McNulty holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics from Grinnell College.
