Emily Bogle

Senior Visual Editor at NPR

Emily Bogle is a seasoned visual editor at NPR, where since June 2011, responsibilities have included collaborating with the investigations team, developing Instagram strategies, and curating visual narratives for long-form podcasts and special projects. Prior positions at NPR encompassed serving as Photo Editor & Art Director, managing image decisions for daily news, and contributing as an Assistant Producer and Multimedia Intern focused on photo research and visual storytelling. In addition to industry experience, Bogle served as a Teaching Assistant at Georgetown University, aiding in visual storytelling education for journalism students. Bogle holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photojournalism from Rochester Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Integrated Design at the University of Baltimore.
