Erika Ryan

Erika Ryan is an accomplished producer with extensive experience in broadcast journalism and digital media. Currently serving as Producer I for NPR's "All Things Considered" since June 2022, Ryan previously spent nearly five years at CNN, where significant roles included producer for "The Newscast with Wolf Blitzer" and associate producer for "Newsroom with Jim Acosta." In these positions, responsibilities encompassed scriptwriting, live shot coordination, and field production management. Ryan's background also includes editorial roles in various publications, such as Arts and Culture Writer for Free Times and Editor-in-Chief for Garnet & Black Magazine, highlighting a strong dedication to arts and culture journalism. A University of South Carolina alumna, Ryan holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications.
