Grace Benninghoff

Grace Benninghoff is an accomplished journalist currently serving as a City Hall Reporter for The Portland Press Herald since September 2023 and as a Contributor for NPR since July 2022. Prior experience includes working as a Reproductive Health Contributing Writer for Texas Monthly, hosting All Things Considered at Vermont Public Radio, and serving as a Reporting Fellow at VTDigger. Grace's earlier roles involved significant contributions to Growing Gardens Oregon, where responsibilities included recruitment for fundraising events and fostering community partnerships, in addition to supporting operations for the Home Gardens Program. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
