Heidi Glenn

Heidi Glenn is an experienced editor and producer currently serving as the Editor of the Washington Desk and Editor of Digital Content at NPR since 2007. In these roles, Heidi creates and transforms stories for NPR.org, reporting original pieces and adapting radio scripts for web content. Prior to NPR, Heidi worked at Tax Notes Magazine from 1994 to 2007 as a reporter and editor, covering critical issues such as federal tax policy, congressional races, and health care, while effectively synthesizing complex information under tight deadlines. Heidi holds a Master of Arts in Interactive Journalism from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a focus on Rhetorical Theory from the University of Pittsburgh.
