Howard Wollner

Howard Wollner is an experienced board member and problem solver currently serving on the board of NPR since October 2013, including a role as Chairman of the NPR Foundation. Prior to his work at NPR, Howard held the position of Senior Vice President at Starbucks Coffee Company from January 1992 to January 2005, where responsibilities included oversight of various corporate functions and management of strategic alliances. Additionally, Howard was President of the Seattle Office at C & B Consulting Group from June 1977 to August 1990, specializing in employee benefits consulting for small to mid-sized companies. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Marketing Organizational Development from Seattle University, a BA in History from Georgetown University, and participation in the Distinguished Careers Institute at Stanford University.
