Jean Dober is an experienced labor relations and legal professional currently serving as the Director of Employee & Labor Relations and Investigations at NPR since April 2022. Prior to this role, Jean held positions at Paragon Systems Inc as VP of Labor Relations & Corporate Counsel, where responsibilities included managing labor operations for over 12,000 employees and negotiating collective bargaining agreements. Additional legal experience was gained at Baker Donelson and Amtrak, where Jean advanced to Senior Associate General Counsel, focusing on litigation strategies, crisis communications, and managing complex disputes. Jean holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Yale University.
