Jennifer Pak is an experienced journalist specializing in China reporting, currently serving as a China correspondent for NPR since December 2025. Prior to this role, Jennifer worked at Marketplace by APM from August 2017 to November 2025 in the same capacity. Jennifer's extensive background includes serving as a South China Stringer for The Telegraph and holding positions as Malaysia Correspondent and Producer in Beijing with BBC News. Additional experience includes working as a Foreign Expert at China Radio International, a Chase Producer/Researcher at CBC, and a Reporter/News Reader at 97.7 Sun FM. Jennifer graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Political Science in 2004.
