Lee Hale

Lee Hale currently serves as a Senior Producer at NPR since April 2020, following a role as Education & Religion Reporter at KUER 90.1 from October 2016 to April 2020. Prior to this, Lee was a Kroc Fellow at NPR from August 2015 to October 2016 and created, produced, and hosted the School Story Podcast in early 2015, which involved planning and recording episodes focused on classroom life. Lee's earlier experience includes working as a Special Education Teacher at Sunset Ridge Middle School and as a Behavioral Health Paraprofessional at Anasazi Foundation. Education was attained at Brigham Young University, culminating in a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and Teaching.
