Megan Pratz

Megan Pratz is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in political coverage across multiple media platforms. Currently serving as Senior Editor for Politics at NPR since August 2022, Megan leads national politics coverage for flagship shows and manages content for npr.org. Prior to this role, Megan was the Political Director and Executive Producer at Cheddar Inc., overseeing political coverage focused on the White House and Capitol Hill from November 2018 to August 2022. Previous positions include producing CGTN America's flagship talk show, The Heat, and serving in production roles at FOX News, Al Jazeera Media Network, and PBS' To The Contrary. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Psychology from the University of Maryland.
