Meredith Ochs is an accomplished author and commentator with extensive experience in the publishing and media industries. Currently serving as an author at Simon & Schuster since March 2023, Ochs has also been a commentator for NPR since May 2000. In addition, Ochs works as a consultant for Westwood One and has authored several notable books, including "Rock-and-Roll Woman" and "Aretha: The Queen of Soul" with Union Square & Co., as well as "Bruce Springsteen: An Illustrated Biography" for QUARTO PUBLISHING PLC. Ochs previously hosted a talk show on Sirius XM Satellite Radio from November 2004 to May 2018. Ochs holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government, History, and International Relations from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
