Michael Pilone

Michael Pilone is a seasoned software professional with extensive experience in software architecture and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Software Architect at NPR since July 2010, Michael leads the development of the ContentDepot system for NPR Distribution. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Vangent, Inc. from March 2005 to July 2010, and a position as a Software Engineer at the Naval Research Laboratory from January 1998 to March 2005. Michael holds a Master of Science in Information Technology Project Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, achieved between 2007 and 2009, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Virginia Tech, completed in 2003. Early education was at Salesianum, where studies were completed in 1998.
