Rachel Evans

Rachel Evans currently serves as the Chief Development Officer at NPR, focusing on raising philanthropic revenue to support journalism. In addition, Rachel is an Army Officer and Chaplain Candidate in the US Army Reserves, training under a supervisory chaplain. Previously, Rachel worked as the Chief Revenue & Development Officer at Teach For America, where funding increased and first-time donations rose significantly. As the Chief Executive Officer at CityBridge Education, now CitySchools Collaborative, Rachel led initiatives to innovate public education in Washington, D.C. Furthermore, Rachel was a White House Fellow, serving as Chief of Staff to the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness. Rachel holds a Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School and an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology.
