Sara E. Richards

Sara E. Richards has extensive experience in project management and production within the broadcasting industry, currently serving as a Manager at NPR since December 2016, where previous roles included Senior Project Manager, Project Manager, and Assistant Project Manager. Prior to this, Sara worked as a Radio Producer at C-SPAN for a brief period in late 2016, and as a Producer at KUOW Public Radio in 2015. Sara began a career at NPR in 2007 as a Production Assistant and intern, building a strong foundation in media production. Academically, Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and German Cultural Studies from Mount Holyoke College and is pursuing a Radio Reporting Fellowship at Landesanstalt für Medien Nordrhein-Westfalen in Germany. Additionally, Sara studied at The University of Bonn in Germany during 2005-2006.
