Shannon Rhoades

Shannon Rhoades is an accomplished editor with a robust background in journalism and film development. Currently serving as a Senior Editor at NPR since May 2022, Shannon previously held the role of Development Executive for Oscar-winning Filmmaker John Ridley from April 2021 to May 2022. Prior to that, Shannon worked at NPR from August 2019 to April 2021 as Senior Editor for Interviews. Shannon's extensive experience at National Public Radio spans from October 2000 to October 2018, including positions such as Senior Supervisory Editor for Morning Edition and various editorial roles. Shannon Rhoades earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Smith College between 1990 and 1994.
