Teri Schultz

Teri Schultz is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in international reporting, particularly focusing on EU and NATO affairs. Currently serving as a freelance EU/NATO reporter for NPR since January 2007 and a freelance correspondent for Deutsche Welle since October 2016, Schultz has a diverse background that includes roles as a podcast creator and host at the Atlantic Council and as a freelance reporter for CBS Radio. Prior experience includes serving as an EU/NATO correspondent for GlobalPost and a State Department reporter/producer for Fox News Channel. Schultz's dedication to journalism education is highlighted by a fellowship with the International Center for Journalists, where training local broadcast journalists in Russia was a key focus. With a Master of Science in International Relations from the University of Helsinki and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from New Mexico State University, Schultz has built a robust career spanning several decades and media organizations, including Reuters, CNN, and Yle.
